CB, I think this is a great idea! I hope CT agrees...will be nice to have a page we can all go to in order to keep updated without having to bother CT all the time about what is going on. I know she will get tired of us asking how she is doing daily. Great place for us to express our love and concern as well!

Cindy, it was so good to hear your voice this afternoon and to know that you are in such good spirits. I hope that God will continue to bring you peace as you face your upcoming surgery. Please remember there are lots of people that love you that will help you in this fight. May you continue to find strength in our heavenly father, Jesus Christ.

I want to thank Cindy for taking the time to set this blog up for me. You'll never know what a relief this is. I also want to thank all of you for caring enough to visit the site and offer your support and encouragement. I met with my surgeon for the second time today, and this is what the plans are thus far.......

I will be having a total right mastectomy at the Surgicenter in Greenville on Wednesday, April the 7th. I have to be there at 0945 and am scheduled for 1045. I will not know until the surgery is completed whether chemotherapy or radiation is required. That will depend on what is found in my lymph nodes.

On Tuesday, March 30th, I will be having some scans done at Physician's East to determine if there are problems anywhere else. This is usually set up by oncology, but I have two weeks before surgery, plus will have to recover before seeing them. This way, I am making the most of my time......

That's all there is to tell right now. I am doing extremely well except for a cold. I am in good spirits and have a very positive outlook. I can definitely tell that people are praying for me. I refuse to ask God why this is happening to me. He is a great God, and I trust Him completely. Please continue to pray for me, as well as my family. I thank you, and my family thanks you........

It's Monday, April 29th. I am NPO after midnight for my scans tomorrow. I have to be there at 0930 to drink the contrast, and my first scan is at 1030. These scans will tell us if there is any sign of cancer anywhere else in my body. I don't know when I will get the results. Please pray for me tomorrow; I am very anxious about these tests. I am having a bone scan, plus CT of the head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. I will post the results as soon as I get them. Thank you.
